Migrate WooCommerce to Shopify.
Review everything first.
Your entire catalogue lands in a private staging environment. Browse it, edit it, then push to Shopify in one action. Your WooCommerce store keeps selling the whole time.
Why staged migration beats direct migration
Most migration tools copy data straight into your live Shopify store and hope for the best. If a variant maps wrongly or a description arrives mangled, your customers see it before you do.
Storeflit works the other way round. Everything imports into staging first: products with all their variants and images, customers with order history, orders with their original numbers and totals, coupons with their rules, and CMS pages. You review the lot, fix anything you like, and push only when it is right.
That order matters because migrations fail in details, not in headlines. A missing variant image, a coupon whose expiry inverted, a product description that arrived with shortcode debris. In a direct migration those problems surface on your live storefront. In a staged migration they surface in a private review screen, where fixing them costs nothing.
What carries over
Products, variants, images, SKUs, prices, inventory, customers, order history, coupons, pages, meta titles and descriptions, Yoast and RankMath data, image alt text, and your URL structure via automatic 301 redirects. The things competitors sell as add-ons are simply included.
Orders deserve a specific mention, because most tools get them wrong. Storeflit imports orders as real Shopify orders, keeping their original order numbers, dates, line items, totals, taxes and payment status, linked to the right customer. No confirmation emails are sent to your customers, and your inventory is not touched. Your trading history arrives as history, not as a pile of drafts.
Your SEO arrives with you
Years of rankings are worth more than any feature. Every migrated URL gets an automatic 301 redirect to its Shopify equivalent, meta titles and descriptions carry over, and Yoast or RankMath data comes too. You can review the redirect map in staging like everything else, before it exists anywhere public.
Zero downtime, by design
Storeflit reads your WooCommerce store; it never writes to it. Your store keeps selling through the entire migration, from first import to final push. There is no maintenance window, no frozen checkout, and no gap in trading while you review staging at your own pace.

Common questions
What exactly is a "staged" migration?
We copy your entire WooCommerce catalogue, products, variants, customers, orders, coupons and pages, into a private staging environment first. You browse it like a real store, edit anything, then push to Shopify in one action. Nothing touches your live store until you approve it.
Will my store go offline during migration?
No. Your WooCommerce store keeps running and selling the whole time. Migration happens in the background; you switch to Shopify only when staging looks exactly right, and you control when to redirect traffic to the new store.
What data can be migrated?
Our platform supports comprehensive migration of all essential data:
- Products: simple products, variable products with all variants, images, descriptions, SKUs, prices and inventory
- Customers: customer accounts, email addresses and order history, with duplicate detection
- Orders: complete order history as real Shopify orders, keeping original numbers, dates, totals and payment status
- Coupons: discount codes with all rules and conditions
- Pages: CMS content pages with proper formatting
- SEO data: meta titles, descriptions, Yoast/RankMath metadata and alt tags
How are orders migrated?
Orders arrive in Shopify as real orders, not drafts. Each one keeps its original order number, date, line items, totals, taxes, discounts and payment status, linked to the right customer.
The import is silent and safe: no confirmation emails are sent to your customers and your Shopify inventory is left untouched. Edge cases are handled too, including fully refunded and zero-total orders. Guest checkouts create the customer record Shopify requires, so your final Shopify customer count can be slightly higher than the number of customers migrated. Like everything else, orders land in staging first, so you can check them before they go anywhere near your live store.
How long does a migration take?
Migration time depends on your store size and selected options:
- Small stores (0-100 products): 1-4 hours
- Medium stores (100-500 products): 4-12 hours
- Large stores (500-2,000 products): 12-24 hours
- Enterprise stores (2,000+ products): 24-48 hours
The migration runs in the background, so you can leave and return anytime, and your WooCommerce store stays fully operational throughout. If you enable AI enhancement, add roughly 20-30% as products are optimised individually.
What happens to my search rankings?
We preserve your SEO automatically: 301 redirects for every migrated URL, meta titles and descriptions carried over, and URL structure maintained. This is included free, not a paid add-on.
That includes Yoast and RankMath plugin data, image alt text, and URL structure customisation so you can configure how URLs map to Shopify's structure.
Can I test before paying?
Yes. Test mode migrates up to 5 items of each type using your real WooCommerce and Shopify stores, with all features available including AI enhancement and staging, and no payment required. Enable it in the setup wizard with the "Test migration" option.
